Indian lighthouse registers for International Lighthouse and Lightship Weekend |

The first Indian lighthouse has registered for International Lighthouse and Lightship Weekend on 16 and 17 August. Permission has been received to activate a lighthouse in southern India. A callsign is pending but it will be activated from the Indian Independence Day, 15 August, through to the 18th, which includes the International Lighthouse Weekend. |
